This podcast is about the Sacrament of Confirmation, an ancient tradition that solidifies a believer's rebirth and establishes the truth of their faith. The sacrament is seen as a strengthening of the believer's life through the person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit, and is a confirmation of their belief in Jesus. The sacraments, in general, are viewed as sacred channels for the life of God to flow into our lives. The podcast discusses how the sacraments are not just symbols or signs but are encounters or interchanges with the living Christ. The podcast also talks about how the Sacrament of Confirmation perpetuates Pentecost and how it is given through the laying on of hands, which perpetuates the grace of Pentecost in the Church.
